The RV spots have some distance between them which is good. The lush plants and greenery around the park & pool is beautiful. You consistently see employees going around the park to pick up campers trash/garbage. One of our favorite RV parks.

What a beautiful resort! We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and all the tropical palm trees. Very private rv sites surrounded by beautiful foliage.

This is the cleanest, prettiest KOA we have stayed at. It is extremely well landscaped and the pool/bar area is like a tropical oasis. The 2 negatives are: 1)Sites are very tight for bigger rigs. 2) They need to monitor the pool. Kids took over the entire pool with running, splashing, diving, chasing each other. Also, they took food into the pool. There are signs about these not allowed.

All the staff was helpful and very friendly. The resort is beautiful and very clean and shiny ... just like brand new. Sara directed us to a very nice snorkeling adventure. She also was able to slide our reservation a week later because we had a vehicle malfunction. We didnt have to cancel our bucketlist trip!!! We had been booked in nov 2017 and were thankful to finally be able to make it!!!

Love this campground. Very well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, great location in the keys. Sites are separated by enough vegetation for a bit of privacy.

Great place to stay highly recommended bring my boat at there marina and it’s well taken care of, staff very friendly. Skinny guy at the pool was kinda bossy to our kids but everyone was friendly.

My last time at KOA SUGARLOF KEY was about 15 years ago and this last weekend I returned with my family and dog. As always, the campsite was impeccable, the attention was first class, it is worth highlighting the cleanliness of the bathrooms, but unlike the Last time we found a new campsite, no green for our pet, (except the K9) very clean, the stones hurt his paws, he had a really bad time.

This KOA is one of a kind. The remodeling makes everything brand new and pop. The landscaping is some of the best I have ever seen, offering a level of privacy and personal space that rivals most commercial campgrounds. The staff was ridiculously friendly and the amenities were ultra clean and amazing. I am absolutely going back.

Stayed 6 days in April 2024. Had a great pull-thru site near the marina. Resort was extremely clean and well kept. Service was terrific. Proximity to Key West was very good. Easy drive. We had a great time. Only downside would be the Noseeums even with repellent. Not much you do about that though. We will be back!

This was our first time to key west and also a koa holiday. It was great everything from the pool/hot tub to the beach was nice having right there so you didn’t have to leave. I would 100% recommend this location. We even extended our stay by another day and would have stayed longer if not having to drive all the back to PA. Well worth the drive!

Another great stay! We appreciate the views, amenities, landscaping, and cleanliness. This is the best KOA we’ve ever been to. The staff are always friendly to our family, especially the team at the marina and those driving by to grab our trash. We appreciate the live music, but wish it was a bit more lively and the cafe food quality could be improved. Overall, a fantastic experience!!!

Super friendly staff started our great experience. Once directed to our site, my wife and I set up camp. The facilities are super clean. Very well landscaped buffers between sites. Great pool area with food and drinks. Small marine store with slips, boat ramp and fuel. Nicest campground in the keys. Can’t wait to go back.

Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA was really nice. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We liked it so much, booked another trip next year.

Wonderful amenities, sites and staff. Only neg comment. Shrubbery around sights are beautiful but needs to be trimmed back slightly before it becomes a problem

Best campground we have ever camped in. The sites are beautiful and the pool, bar and lounging area resemble that of a five star resort somewhere in the Caribbean. We will definitely be coming back.

I came down again and like always I was amazed again about this now so wonderful place !.... I know this place before the storm damage, I was there many times.... That's why I can't believe what the new management have done to this place !!.... Alone the landscaping is outstanding, you feel like in a tropical paradise !!!... Had an absolutely wonderful time with the family, all staff members are helpful and friendly. Very clean all around, public showers are immaculate, garden, pool and all surrounding areas are kept clean and manicured throughout the day. Very pet friendly including a dog park for your furry companions. Reasonable fees on lots, golf carts, boat rentals etc.. community campers all very friendly.

We had a great time. Close to Key West. Pool, bar and grill were excellent. A very nice benefit. Very clean and well run. Will be back. Only negative i had was when I went to the office to ask a question. I was carrying our 8 lb. dog. She's a Service Dog. Didn't have the vest on. Lady at office snapped at me saying no dogs allowed in office. First no signs were saying this. Wrong.

Our stay was for 3 weeks. The camp ground and facility was Top Shelf! Everything g was beautiful, well taken care of. The service and cleanliness was impeccable. Everyone was friendly. Loved the pool, the bar and the beach. And finally the location was outstanding. We will be back next year.

Bring all your bug repellent, Bring Thermacells , bring bug hairs. Don’t be outside without full bug protection. You will be bitten like you’ve never been but before. The buds. They. Are. Everywhere. Other than that, great place!!

Beautiful KOA!! We have stayed at several KOA's but this one is by far one of our favorites. It was more than a campground, it was like being at a all-inclusive resort. Very impressive & would very much recommend. Hopefully we will be back again soon. (:

Beautiful campground ! Very much Resort camping, all the amenities! Beautiful pool, nice beach area. Lots of things to rent like bikes, boats, kayaks, etc. Nice store, pool bar - Lava Flow my favorite pool drink!! Nice laundry. Good site size - nice landscaping between sites.

To many decorated rocks hard to pull in or out with a43foot fifth wheel bushes need to be trimmed had to have person in front of me to be able to pull out when leaving your way overpriced

Great campground. Beautiful sites. Pool was very nice and we enjoyed the small beach area. Food was amazing from the store. Nice bar area. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Sugarloaf Key for six nights. The campground/resort was fabulous. All of the workers were very courteous and the grounds were immaculate. The facility was so nice that we spent two of our days enjoying the many amenities of the resort instead of going into Key West

Beautiful landscaping, grounds and amenities. Staff everywhere and very friendly. Kayak Access site was great however did not match the pictures. Entry is off a concrete wall not a walk down. However we enjoyed the view it provided. It would be great if KOAs limited the number of dogs and dog size on a site. We had 3 very large dogs next to us and they barked a lot!

This place was frickin fantastic, employees were great, bath houses were beyond clean, bus stop to downtown key west right out front, pool great, bar great, food good, highly recommend, I'll be back
